Good afternoon instrumental parents,

At the brink of break, We would like to inform you that we will be planning a music department performance trip next February break to…

Walt Disney World!

Please join us for an information session on Monday, April 23rd in the Band Room at 6:30 PM.

We have been working diligently to select a big trip that we felt would be musically beneficial for our students.

On this Disney trip, students in both concert band and choir will get the opportunity to perform at a venue in Disney World as well as participate in a 3-hour workshop with a Disney music studio professional who will guide students in sight-reading and performance exercises and techniques, culminating in a Nashoba recording of Disney music paired with a scene from a Disney music. Along with our performances, Disney is known for its numerous formal and informal music performances throughout the parks. We hope students will experience Disney world through the lens of music throughout our adventure!

As this is intended to be a performance field trip, we hope to have close to 100% participation. We plan to offer numerous opportunities for fundraising at the end of this year and beginning of next and look forward to working with you in preparing for this trip.

Again, please join us for an INFORMATION SESSION on Monday, April 23rd at 6:30 PM in the Band Room. A representative from the travel company we will be working with will be there to answer questions regarding travel, price, payments, itinerary, workshops, etc.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, feel free to let us know.
We are excited that we will be offering this trip next year and hope you are excited for this opportunity for your child as well! (Sorry parents of seniors!)
